Mace Blades or Javentri, is a pungent spice made from the delicate outer covering of nutmeg seeds. It has a taste just like nutmeg-it tastes warm, sweet and aromatic. It is typically used with cinnamon and pepper and present in Indian garam masala. Its mild flavour also makes it popular in Europe which prefer mild spices and used in rice dishes, desserts, and spice blends.
