This version is an unrefined, all-natural version mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan. Valued for its delicate, earthy flavor and distinctive Pink color, it's a natural alternative to processed table salt. It commonly features in satvik and fasting (vrat) diets, and is keto-friendly. It can be used just like table salt and especially so in brines and pickling mixtures where slow dissolving is useful. Use according to taste, and remember that it is still salt, so moderation is key.
