Black Salt, called Kala Namak in India, is a pungent, volcanic rock salt. It is much lower in sodium compared to table salt, and also has other trace minerals like iron and potassium. It has a tangy and slightly sulphurous, eggy taste. It lends its unique taste to chats, salads, and snacks and is also sprinkled over chips and savoury dishes. Our Black salt has a fine texture, making it a popular choice in traditional and modern cooking.

Works well for what I needed. Packaging could be slightly better but the contents were fine. Good value overall.
