When dried sage leaves are rubbed gently, they crumble into tiny, cotton-like fibres, and used in this form they are called Rubbed sage. This herb lends an earthy, piney flavour to cooking. It is used in stuffing's, pork rubs, and other Italian and Greek dishes. Our rubbed sage easily mixes in stuffing's, sauces and seasonings, quite unlike the textured whole sage.
