Spice Mart Organic Cinnamon is extracted from the Pimpinella anisum plant, which belongs to the parsley and celery family (Apiaceae). This powder has been used as a cooling spice in powders, breads, cakes and curries. It is sweet and aromatic with a liquorice-like uplifting taste. It is sweet and delicious, hence the flavour and aroma is also used in perfumes. Works well in sauces as a perfect addition to biscuits, cakes, breads and herbal infusions.
