Amla or the Indian Gooseberry powder is a potent herb that has widespread use. Its tart, fruity flavour makes it a popular item, commonly used in hair treatment. It is known to help with promoting hair growth, useful in hair loss. It is an active ingredient in many herbal compositions such as Triphala, used with Bibhitaki and haritaki. This powder is high in Vitamin C and helpful in skin conditions when used as a pack. The product can be boiled with brahmi to make a natural shampoo.
